The inspiration for 4favorites began in a closet and grown children.  I was a mother who saved a LOT of my kid’s drawings.  Some drawings were framed and hung on walls, some were in boxes which gathered dust.  My children have both graduated from college and were living in their first apartments and, since I am a custom rug manufacturer with over 10 years experience, asked me for rugs.  Whenever my kids looked over their drawings of their first dinosaur, first drawings of our two dogs, or first anything, it really joy and good memories of the moment that art was created and shared.  It was at that moment I realized that there are probably lots of Moms and Dads, grandparents, and others who had something they cherish and want to last. I chose two drawings my kids made and had my weavers in Nepal make prototypes.  That’s the beginning.
